CHERYL Tweedy’s year of turmoil has cost her more than £750,000, new accounts figures reveal.

Her worth in one of her companies, CC Couture, plunged from £1.4 million to £850,000 in the year she gave birth to her son Bear - and split from boyfriend Liam Payne.

The value of another company CC Entertainments, also fell by nearly £200,000, meaning £750,000 in total was wiped off her companies.

Cheryl spent much of the year out of the spotlight after the arrival of her first child with her now estranged partner Liam Payne, meaning her business interests suffered.

Cheryl, who recently split from Liam, - the father of their one-year-old son - has only recently put a brave face on the setbacks and appeared at a fashion show for L’Oreal this week.

Accounts for her company CC Couture, which channels ‘performing arts’ money earned by the star, were signed off by the star using her maiden name Tweedy.

"It’s been a tough decision for us to make.”

The star said earlier this year her fifth studio album was nearly finished and she has taken on the role of ‘captain’ in a BBC dance competition which is due to air next year.

She was earning £18,000 a month renting her plush £5 million mansion in Hertfordshire, when she moved in with Liam Payne.
