Raunchy sitcom, The Royals.

A Prince in the making: Elizabeth Hurley reveals son Damian, 13, has been 'promised' a role in season three of her racy show The Royals

The actress, 50, revealed Damian, 13 - her son with American businessman Steve Bing - will appear in the third season of the E! show if it is recommissioned, despite her previously admitting to being 'ashamed' of its risque subject matter.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Elizabeth revealed: 'If we get a season three they have promised him a part... a Royal part.

The star's revelation comes in spite of the fact that she previously admitted she was 'ashamed' when Damian first read the script for the rather racy show. And it would seem the youngster is already comfortable on set, with Elizabeth revealing she helps her co-stars with their lines.

She added: 'There are some lines which I have real problems with and my son, who is just 13, is running them with me. Some are just too rude.
'He runs lines with all the cast. He is in love with Alex, who plays my daughter. He is in her trailer all day running lines. He loves it.'

The Royals sees Elizabeth play the controversial wife of the future King of England in the E! show, which is set to return this month.
Based on a fictional take of the royal family and what may go on behind the closed doors of the palace, the second series of The Royals also stars Joan Collins as the Grand Duchess of Oxford and Home and Away actress Alexandra Park as Princess Elea.
Created by Mark Schwahn, the drama proved to be a success in its first installment and is the network's debut scripted series.
