The Screen Actors Guild announced the winners of the SAG Awards, and Breaking Bad won two top honors: Bryan Cranston for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, and the entire cast for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. “I won a SAG award!” Cranston sang as he accepted his award. “Thank god to all my cast mates and, of course, Vince Gilligan. I owe you everything.” This is the second time Cranston has won a SAG award in this category. His competitors this year were Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) and Kevin Spacey (House of Cards).

The entire cast later joined Cranston on stage as he accepted the ensemble award on their behalf. “What a way to go out in style,” he said. The cast has been nominated twice in the ensemble category. This is the first year they have won. Their competition was the casts from Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and Homeland.
