An alternate ending to Breaking Bad which spoofs Bryan Cranston's former role in TV comedy Malcolm In The Middle has leaked online - scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch.

The official clip, which will be released as part of the complete box set of the series, finds Cranston reviving his role as the hapless Hal along with his Malcolm In The Middle co-star Jane Kaczmarek as he wakes up to discover that his experiences as meth kingpin Walter White in Breaking Bad were just a nightmare.

Last month, it was revealed that both Cranston and Aaron Paul, who played Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman, had shown interest in reviving their roles in the forthcoming spin-off series Better Called Saul. The series will centre on Saul Goodman, the dodgy lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk. It's set to be more comedic in tone than Breaking Bad but will contain dramatic moments too.

Speaking of his plans and casting options for the show, creator Vince Gilligan said: "The sky's the limit with a prequel. Everybody who's now deceased in the Breaking Bad world is obviously still alive. You never know who might turn up and when and where." He then confirmed that Cranston and Paul have shown an interest in reprising their roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman for cameos - which should please Breaking Bad's most famous fan Anthony Hopkins.

At present, Gilligan and producer Peter Gould are aiming to have Better Caul Saul] ready to debut around late summer/early autumn next year (2014).
