New on-set footage from Thor: Ragnarok reveals a new encounter between the God of Thunder and his brother, Loki. Chris Hemsworth will be back in cinemas in less than two months with his third go-round as the powerful Asgardian. But of course, it wouldn’t be a Thor film without his conniving brother, played by Tom Hiddleston. While their relationship may have had its ups and downs, they will have to work together well this time to save Asgard from total destruction brought about by the arrival of Cate Blanchett’s menacing villain, Hela.

Just from the trailers for Ragnarok, we already know this film will be different from previous installments in the franchise. The color palette is vibrant and the humor is more evident, but don’t let that fool you, as the film has some pretty high stakes, not just in terms of Thor’s own series but presumably in the bigger Marvel Cinematic Universe, given that its events will bleed into next year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Now, a new behind-the-scenes clip has emerged courtesy of ET and it features a slew of juicy tidbits straight from the set of Ragnarok in Australia, including an interview with Hemsworth. However, one specific shot that has gained traction from fans involves Thor and Loki in what looks like a verbal altercation. In the quick shot, it appears that Odinson is confronting his brother about something that he may have done — presumably impersonating Odin (Anthony Hopkins), while his adoptive father’s whereabouts are unknown. Check out the full clip above.

Given that Thor is still sporting his luscious locks and is still carrying the Mjolnir, this bit is more likely during the first act of the film. We know that the two will eventually look for their father which will have them end up in New York with the God of Thunder seeking the help of Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). Several shots of Hopkins filming in “New York” (which was just really in Brisbane, Australia) last year could tie to this subplot, although it is uncertain whether the Asgardian brothers will find their father or not.

Additionally, Thor’s Big Apple excursion could also be where he loses his hammer to Hela. Judging by the shots in the trailer where Mjolnir was broken into pieces, it looks as though it took place in an alleyway in New York with its graffiti-laden and brick-colored walls. Wherever it is, it does not seem to be in Asgard, which is ultimately the Goddess of Death’s main target.

Aside from the great battle for Asgard and the hunt for Odin, fans are also looking forward to Thor and Hulk’s (Mark Ruffalo) big Sakaar showdown, where they will finally learn where Bruce Banner has been hanging out since we last saw him riding off in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Given the many interconnected plots and a seemingly refreshing take on the Asgardian prince, Thor: Ragnarok, is shaping up to be this fall’s most anticipated film.
