As AMC's popular Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul, gears up for Season 4, an up-and-coming new cast member has just been added to the ranks. Deadpool's Stefan Kapicic will be joining the series in a recurring role.

Better Call Saul Season 4 may have suffered a bit of a delay, but production has begun on the popular series, which means fans will be reunited with Jimmy McGill, Kim Wexler, and Mike Ehrmantraut soon enough. Through the past three seasons, familiar faces from the show's flagship series have been prominently featured. Both Raymond Cruz and Giancarlo Esposito have reprised their roles as Tuco Salamanca and Gus Fring, respectively. Now we'll be meeting a new character, played by a very familiar voice.

Stefan Kapicic has been added to the Better Call Saul cast for Season 4. Kapicic's character has not yet been revealed, but THR says the actor's role will be a recurring one. Kapicic expressed his excitement about joining the "Breaking Bad universe." The 39-year-old actor praised his new cast and crew, calling them both "amazing" and "talented" while referring to Better Call Saul as one of his favorite TV shows.

While Kapicic boasts a long list of film and television credits, it was his voice-over work as Colossus alongside Ryan Reynolds in 2016's Deadpool that really put him on the map. Kapicic will be reprising his role in the upcoming sequel, Deadpool 2. His work can also be seen in the Starz television series Counterpart.

Better Call Saul will pick up where the Season 3 finale left off. In a shocking twist, Jimmy's brother, Chuck McGill, seemed to have committed suicide by setting fire to his own home. The co-creator of the series, Vince Gilligan, has promised the fourth season will grow darker than any that has come before it. The story is constantly growing closer to Jimmy's adoption of his fast-talking, rule-breaking Breaking Bad persona, Saul Goodman. With this, we can likely expect more crossover between the Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad characters and plotlines.

While interest has been expressed in reviving some of the flagship series' leading characters, like Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman, there has not yet been any confirmation that plans are actually in the works to do so. Gilligan has also teased more flash-forwards that will reveal the details of Jimmy's post-Bad life as manager of a Cinnabon following the fallout of Walter White's doomed run as meth kingpin Heisenberg. A premiere date has not yet been set for the fourth season, but a September bow has been rumored.
