The buyer has already made a bid for Jason Clarke-starrer 'Chappaquiddick.'

Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios has picked up the North American rights to the Keanu Reeves sci-fi thriller Replicas.


Replicas takes place after a car accident kills the loving family of a daring neuroscientist — who will stop at nothing to bring them back.


Jeffrey Nachmanoff directed the feature, which also stars Alice Eve. Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Stephen Hamel porduced, along with Reeves, Mark Gao and Luis Riefkohl.


Bill Johnson and Jim Seibel for Lotus Entertainment executive produced, along with Nik Bower, James Dodson, Deepak Nayar, Maxime Remillard, Clark Peterson, Walter Josten and Erik Howsam of Di Bonaventura Pictures.


Replicas is not in the TIFF lineup, so instead a deal was made after a private screening held here in Toronto.


Entertainment Studios, which picked up Replicas for $4 million, is expected to be an aggressive buyer here at the market, having already placed a sizable bid on Jason Clarke-starrer Chappaquiddick.
