Well… at least the film is still going forward, right? While we would've much preferred Benedict Cumberbatch joining Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller in James Gray's next film, it appears fate had other plans. Well, fate and the scheduling for Marvel's "Doctor Strange."

The Wrap reports that Charlie Hunnam will replace the Oscar nominated actor in "The Lost City Of Z." This adaptation of David Grann's book tells the tale of English soldier-turned-explorer Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett (Hunnam), whose obsessive belief that an ancient civilization resided in the Amazon led him on many death-defying expeditions. After financing eventually dried up, Fawcett self-funded one last adventure into the Amazon with his son from which neither returned. Pattinson will play Henry Costin, a British corporal who joins the journey.

No matter what you feel about this casting switcheroo, we're still getting a new movie from Gray, which is fine by us. Production starts this summer.
