The iconic Batcave will indeed be featured Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but until now its appearance in Zack Snyder's superhero film has remained shrouded in mystery.

Fortunately, that ends today, as EW has a pair of exclusive images showcasing the Dark Knight's iconic lair. See Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne and Jeremy Irons' Alfred working away in the Bat's secret hideout below.

In addition to the photo above, EW revealed concept art of the Batcave, which can be seen on their site.

According to Irons, Batman's loyal butler will play a pivotal role in Dawn of Justice that extends beyond simple housekeeping chores and lending the occasional advice. "Alfred is a lot more hands-on in our film than he has previously been," the actor told EW. "He’s a bit of a grease monkey, and he’s very involved in the decisions Bruce makes."

Affleck also spoke with the outlet to discuss the importance of Batman's representation of humanity in a universe otherwise dominated by supernatural beings. "In a world of Flashes and Aquamen and Supermen, there needs to be that guy," he said.
