The directing duo brings its latest shootout spectacle to Netflix.

There ain't room in this town for two sheriffs — unless, of course, their names are Joel and Ethan Coen, who have a history of co-writing and directing Westerns like No Country for Old Men and True Grit. Netflix has released the second trailer for their latest gunslinging effort, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, starring James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, Zoe Kazan, Liam Neeson, Tim Blake Nelson and Tom Waits.

"Things have a way of escalating out here in the west," Nelson's title bandit says, followed by a montage of gunfire, threats and deaths.

The six-part anthology-style film follows outlaws, cowboys and migrants as they fight their battles in the unforgiving desert landscape of the Old West. Each segment has its own title, including "Meal Ticket," "Near Algodones," "The Gal Who Got Rattled," "The Mortal Remains," "All Gold Canyon" and the titular "Ballad of Buster Scruggs."

"You know the story," Harry Melling's Harrison explains to a horse-drawn carriage full of people from different walks of life. "There are two kinds of people: dead or alive."

The remainder of the trailer is a series of grave-digging, shootouts, nooses and arson, set to the tune of "Fire and Brimstone." Produced by Annapurna Pictures, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, which received the best screenplay award at the Venice Film Festival, hits theaters Nov. 16.
