Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom unveils the teaser to the sequel’s first official trailer, confirming the full preview arrives this Thursday. The Jurassic Park franchise kicked off with Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster adaptation of Michael Crichton’s novel by the same name, which has since become a beloved sci-fi classic. Thanks to the success of Jurassic Park, the movie about a theme park dedicated to bio-engineered dinosaurs inspired a series of sequels, most of which were relatively successful.

However, the series seemed to conclude after Jurassic Park III in 2001 – that is, until Colin Trevorrow revived the franchise with Jurassic World. The 2015 return to Jurassic Park – this time with a fully functioning theme park – was a direct sequel to Spielberg’s original movie and a massive success, earning $1.672 billion at the box office. Given its success, Jurassic World earned a sequel, though Trevorrow stepped down as director and passed the reins to director J.A. Bayona. Now, a trailer teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom confirms the first full trailer arrives this week.

During Football Night in America, Jurassic World star Chris Pratt unveiled the teaser for the upcoming Fallen Kingdom trailer. A (slightly different) teaser has been released online, which you can check out above, that confirms the first Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer arrives on Thursday.
