The Americans’ Annet Mahendru Is Keeping It FX With a Role on Tyrant

Well, this is a little bit of awkward casting news in case you aren't completely caught up with The Americans: Annet Mahendru, who plays triple-agent Nina on the show has been cast in another FX show, Tyrant. She'll be starring in a recurring role as Nafisa Al-Qadi, the political hardliner wife of Sheik Al-Qadi, the leader of Ma’an. This is great news for Mahendru fans who saw the actress on The X-Files reboot and as The Americans darling. Of course, Mahendru was subject to a great plot twist on the latter, which we all really should have seen coming.
