race Gummer, who played Penny in American Horror Story: Freak Show, and was recently seen in Extant, will be joining USA's Mr. Robot in its upcoming second season.

According to EW, Gummer will be playing Dominique (Dom) DiPierro, an FBI agent tracking down the fsociety after the stunning events of last season.


Mr. Robot recently won big at the Golden Globes, where it nabbed the prize for outstanding drama series as well as a best supporting actor win for Christian Slater.

Despite the early success, showrunner Sam Esmail told journalists at the TCA Winter Press Tour that things will only be getting more intense and mind-bending when the show returns.


"I mean, look, [the show's] about a guy who becomes aware of the delusion he's been having. That's a tough pill to swallow. And we are really going to go into the mind of a person who just has become aware of that and what is the next step to that. How do you reconcile that? Will twists organically derive of it? I don't know. I would probably ‑‑ if I were a betting man, I would say yes."

Awesome. AHS is one of my favorite shows currently on TV. Mr. Robot is also a very good show. I really like Grace Gummer as well. She's a very good actress so her addition to Mr. Robot cab only make the show better IMO. She was also really good on The Newsroom.
