Edgar Wright has finished casting his next film, Baby Driver, and has set Jon Bernthal in a "key role."

According to Deadline, The Walking Dead and Punisher actor will join the cast as Griff.

Kevin Spacey will play Doc—the crime boss—who convinces "a young, talented getaway driver," Baby (Ansel Elgort), to work for him. The rest of Doc's crew includes Jon Hamm as Buddy, "the handsome party animal," Eiza Gonzalez as Darling, Buddy's "lawless and scandalous girlfriend and partner-in-crime," and Jamie Foxx as Bats, "the impulsive gun-slinging cohort."

Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) moved forward with the project in January of last year after talking about the film for years. He'll be writing and producing Baby Driver for TriStar and Media Rights Capital. Sony is set to distribute.

Jon Bernthal can be seen next in the second season of Netflix's Daredevil, where he'll play Frank Castle—The Punisher. The 13-episode season premieres March 18.
