Celebrities occasionally get labeled for being an obnoxious group of individuals who are always cheating and sleeping with one another. However, not all actors step out on their partners. Many remain faithful through the good and the bad times.

A study done at Southern Methodist University produced results that stated “normal” individuals have the same desires and drives that celebrities do, but they rarely act on them because the financial repercussions are too much to bear. Actors, however, tend to make an abundance of money, which thus makes it easier for them to step out on their partner and deal with the consequences.

Either way, news instantly gets out about couples who are happy together and those who are sleeping with assistants and nannies.

From Hollywood stars that have been together for over 30 years to nanny scandals, here are the 8 Actors Who Are Stepping Out On Their Partners (And 7 Who Were Always Faithful).

15. STEPPING OUT: JUDE LAW

Jude Law is allegedly unable to hold down a long-term relationship. He currently has five children from three different women.

However, this didn’t stop Sienna Miller from making Jude her first high-profile relationship. The two were engaged back in 2006 when Law reportedly began sleeping with their nanny.

His cheating prompted Miller to allegedly cheat on Jude Law with the 007 actor Daniel Craig. While not confirmed, Miller did say “I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges,” in an interview with Esquire U.K. She also described how not “behaving the way you should” almost ruined her career as an actor.

Jude and Sienna gave it another go with Miller stating “We don’t see each other that much. I care about him enormously” in an interview with Porter magazine. The two ended up splitting again anyway.

14. FAITHFUL: DENZEL WASHINGTON

Denzel Washington and his wife Paulette tied the knot back in 1983. “Nothing is magic, it’s just work,” Paulette recently stated in an interview with Extra. She also said that their marriage has lasted all these years because of “their faith.”

While divorce rates continue to be a hot Hollywood topic, Denzel Washington shares his wife’s opinion on what keeps their marriage strong. “I just think that you have to work at it. Not give up on each other,” he stated in an interview with evangelist T. D. Jakes.

“It’s a commitment. It’s not all the honeymoon, it doesn’t last forever, so you work at it. And hopefully you’re good friends first, that might help,” he said.

Denzel and Paulette also agree that their balanced roles within the home play a major role. “She has done the heavy lifting,” said Denzell to Jakes. “She was the one taking them to school, while I was out providing.”

13. STEPPING OUT: HARRISON FORD

Star Wars will forever be a major franchise, and the subject of Harrison Ford’s hook-up with Carrie Fisher became a hot item when she opened up about it in her book The Princess Diarist. Sadly, Fisher passed away suddenly shortly after the release of her book.

Fisher spoke on the affair prior to her passing, stating: “It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend.” She also added that “it was so intense.”

Ford has been quiet about it since her death, but recently stated in an interview with GQ, “You know, with Carrie’s untimely passing, I don’t really feel that it’s a subject that I want to discuss.”

Ford might be right, but it’s hard not to talk about when it’s likely the nerdiest hook-up in history.

12. FAITHFUL: HUGH JACKMAN

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness have been madly in love for 21 years. Hugh (48 years-old) and Deborra-Lee (61 years-old) met when he first became an actor.

“We met on my first job when she was already a big star, I was a nobody,” Jackman stated in an interview. “So, we have shared everything, all the ups and downs, and always will.”

Jackman and Furness have both admitted that they won’t stay apart for more than two weeks, despite their hectic schedules as “they want to share everything together.”

The two met while on the set of Australian TV show Correlli, becoming best friends for life and have since adopted two children together. “I’m married to the greatest woman alive,” says Jackman. “She’s amazing.”

11. STEPPING OUT: KATE HUDSON

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson got to know one another really well during the filming of You, Me and Dupree.

At the time, Hudson was married to rocker Chris Robinson, who she ended up divorcing in 2007. The magic established between Hudson and Wilson didn’t last, though, which led to them breaking up shortly after Hudson’s divorce.

Struggling with depression, Wilson gave Hollywood a scare when he attempted suicide. He allegedly did this after seeing a photo of Kate cuddled up with her new boyfriend Dax Shepard at the time. Wilson and Hudson would later try again, but soon realized that it wasn’t meant to be.

A friend of Wilson told reporters “Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn’t want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him.”

10. FAITHFUL: MILA KUNIS

Mila Kunis may play the “bad mom” on the big screen, but her and husband Ashton Kutcher are doing it right in real life.

Kunis and Kutcher met and worked together on That ’70s Show when they were both dating and getting married to other high-profile actors. Thankfully for the two of them, those relationships didn’t work out and they started dating in 2012. They have been happily married since 2015.

Kunis and Kutcher have two children together, and according to Mila in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, “We’re not gonna raise a**holes. There’s enough a**holes in this world!”

They may not be your stereotypical couple, but the two actors manage to make things work despite allegations about the two breaking up and not giving their kids Christmas presents.

9. STEPPING OUT: DAVID BOREANAZ

Once a member of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful list, David Boreanaz stepped out on his marriage to Jaime Bergman. However, both say that it strengthened their marriage.

While Bergman was pregnant with their second child, Boreanaz was allegedly hooking up with Rachel Uchitel.

Supposedly a fight broke out between Boreanaz and Bregman, with Bregman threatening to go public with the affair. However, Boreanaz beat her to the punch, admitting his wrongs to the public and his wife at the same time.

“I haven’t been faithful to my wife,” David told People magazine. “Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities. I was irresponsible.”

Bergman was determined to make the marriage work, and even later commented in an interview that the adultery brought her and her husband closer together.

8. FAITHFUL: BORIS KODJOE

Hollywood’s cutest and hottest couple, Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, celebrated their 12 year anniversary in 2017.

The two met on the set of Soul Food, forming an instant bond and referred to the last 12 years as pure bliss. Kodjoe and Parker were married in Germany and have since had two children.

Like any happy couple, Kodjoe and Parker’s Twitter and Instagram feeds are full of adorable pictures featuring many happy pictures of the two lovebirds. As they spent their recent anniversary in New York city, the two couldn’t take enough photos of them shopping and cuddling around town.

You’d think that their lives were perfect, but they aren’t. Sadly, their daughter suffers from spina bifida. However, as shocking as the news was, the happy family has stuck together and continues to draw strength from one another.

7. STEPPING OUT: ANNE HECHE

America supported and loved Ellen DeGeneres and Anne Heche together… until the cheating happened. The relationship quickly went from DeGeneres saying in an interview: “If Anne goes, I want to go… that’s how strongly I feel.”

Later she gave a statement to Daily News, stating: “Unfortunately, we have decided to end our relationship.”

“It is an amicable parting, and we greatly value the 3 1/2 years we have spent together. We hope everyone will respect our privacy through this difficult time,” she said.

The two have since moved on, but the remnants of DeGeneres and Heche’s breakup still linger in the public eye all of these years later.

Recently, Heche was busy smooching boyfriend James Tupper at the premiere of Big Little Lie. However, don’t worry about Ellen, she’s been happily married to Portia Di Rossi since 2008.

6. FAITHFUL: HOLLY ROBINSON

Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete recently celebrated their marriage of 21 years, stating that they are rock solid and strong.

The two got engaged while on the set of Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper and have been keeping it real since. Robinson and Peete have four children together and are vocal advocates for autism awareness.

Robinson has a reality show called For Peete’s Sake which is featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network. She has also written a book about her son’s autism, along with his twin sister, who also produced a book about her brother.

Despite raising four kids and having to deal with the day-to-day struggles of an autistic child, Robinson and Peete are not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.

5. STEPPING OUT: CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY

Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush met and got married while on the set of One Tree Hill, one of the hottest shows in the early 2000s.

“In my 20s, when I was starting out my career as an actor, I wasn’t looking for a relationship, but one found me and became serious, even though I hadn’t planned to settle down until my 30s,” Bush wrote in a letter to Cosmopolitan magazine.

“But when the person you’re with asks you to marry him, you think — this must be happening because it’s supposed to,” she stated.

Apparently, Murray didn’t feel the same way about their marriage when he hooked up Paris Hilton while filming House of Wax.

Bush responded, saying: “It devastates me now that I have been reduced to a Hollywood statistic, another joke marriage. I never expected to be married more than once…because I knew what I was getting into and will always believe in love.”

4. FAITHFUL: MICHAEL J. FOX

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan began dating while working together on Bright Lights, Big City in 1987.

The two became serious about each other right away and tied the knot the following year. Fox and Pollan have raised four children together, one boy and three girls.

As if that wasn’t enough work, Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991. The news only brought the family closer together, though, with Pollan saying “He’s so relaxed and so accepting of where he is, and that makes it easier for me, the kids, and everyone around him.”

The couple admits that they do occasionally argue, but Fox says it because he “doesn’t get things” all the time. However, by giving each other the benefit of doubt, the two have held things together and are happy.

3. STEPPING OUT: BEN AFFLECK AND JENNIFER LOPEZ

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were once a high-profile couple who seemed happy and in love… then Ben called the wedding off and almost immediately started seeing Jennifer Garner.

Lopez recalls in her book True Love that “it felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest.”

Then, in 2016, Ben allegedly cheated on Garner with the nanny, but Garner quickly put the flames of controversy out by stating that they were already separated.

Since then, they have been on and off for the last couple years. A divorce has been filed, but it has never gone through.

The two recently celebrated Thanksgiving together with their kids, “I love Ben,” Garner said in an interview with ET.

“We will be together with our kids and give them a special Christmas. We get along really well and it’s not an issue. We are friends; we can manage it,” she stated.

2. FAITHFUL: GOLDIE HAWN

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell dated while working together on Swing Shift and have been together since. However, they have never gotten officially married.

“He is a fascinating, brilliant, complex, mad man,” Hawn told Today. “Sexy, sexual, which I think is very important, by the way. Often times, the grass can look really greener on the other side, but it never did to me.”

The two are unlike any couple in Hollywood right now, living life to its fullest while enjoying each other’s company.

“We laugh a lot and we are a fun family,” stated Hawn. “And we love to be together. We love it. I mean, it is like our favorite thing ever.”

Earlier this year, Hawn and Russell both received Hollywood stars next to each other on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

1. STEPPING OUT: CHARLIE SHEEN

Charlie Sheen brought Christmas to the tabloids early when he allegedly cheated on wife Brooke Mueller with a paid escort. Not only did he cheat on her, but apparently he slept with the escort in the same bed that he and Mueller shared.

Sheen then allegedly went on to marry and cheat on Denise Richards with his own assistant. Richards claims that Sheen wasn’t a bad boy when they met, but he turned into “a very different person.”

After providing Sheen with a restraining order for allegedly threatening her life, Richards stated in an interview: “[It’s] up and down. For better or worse, he’s going to be in my life for the rest of my life so I personally like to keep the peace.”
