Every year, The Razzies – also known as the Golden Raspberry Awards – are held in Los Angeles prior to The Academy Awards to salute the very worst pictures (and actors, etc.) of the year. Previous “winners” include Movie 43, The Twilight Saga, The Last Airbender, Catwoman, Gigli, Freddy Got Fingered, Battlefield Earth, Showgirls, Leonard Part 6, and on and on (i.e., some truly terrible movies).

This year’s nominees list included Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, The Expendables 3, Left Behind, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Annie, The Legend of Hercules, Cameron Diaz (in Sex Tape and The Other Woman), and more.

The Razzies are also known for including special awards every few years. In 1998, it was “Worst Movie Trends of the Year.” In 2010, it was “Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3D.” And in 2015, it’s “The Razzie Redeemer Award,” which Ben Affleck, Keanu Reeves, Kristen Stewart, and more were nominated for.

So who won – or lost? – this year? Kirk Cameron and his Christmas-themed Saving Christmas were the big “winners” of the night, having received four of the ten awards available. (Saving Christmas also had the dishonor of winding up on our own Worst Movie Posters of 2014 list.)

Meanwhile, Cameron Diaz “won” Worst Actress, Annie “won” Worst Remake, Rip-Off, or Sequel, Michael Bay “won” Worst Director, Megan Fox “won” worst supporting actress, Kelsey Grammer “won” for the many bad movies he appeared in this year, and Ben Affleck won (notice the lack of quotations this time) the Razzie Redeemer Award.
