I used both of my gmail and ymail to sign up for the tracker, but I haven't received any confirmation email in my inbox or spam, even tried the confirmation link of the guy above.
That sucks, can anyone help me

The trick that did it for me was changing email address to a gmail account but I remember I also:
-Cleared the cache of my browser
-Cleared history
-Cleared cookies regarding the hd-city site
-And only after all of this, I inserted a gmail address I never used on this site.
(by "used" I mean that I did insert it even though I never got the confirm)

It's all I can say from my experience.

the confirmation mail came but late

Perfect then! problem resolved!
