    It's very simple. Once they realised, by the increased number of registrations, that the news about their open sign-ups is out, on sites like ours, they just disabled the process. It's their retarded reaction to the moronic notion that all the people who visit forums like this, are only potential abusers of their spotless trackers. Go figure!

    Ah, That thought did cross my mind as I had it happen on another site I was trying to sign-up on.

    I'm new here and didn't take me long to see that there are decent checks and processes in place to ensure these sites get good members. I guess they were just overwhelmed and didn't have the resources to handle all the sign-ups this time round (I did get the impression that there was a manual process involved).
