I have these application signup, like you are applying for college or a well paid job. Or a country club, secret society or a cult. Like they are offering something exclusive or special.

If they want new members they should open threads in other trackers forums. Not ask for screenshots or profile links on other torrent tracker and a small essays why do i want to join.

Couldn't agree more.
Some even ask you to explain why you want to join. Like you are supposed to know what the content is and if you even want to join in the first place.
