DESCRIPTION

UltimateWrestlingTorrents became WrestlingDesiresTorrents when it joined forces with WrestlingDesires.com, a forum which specialises in direct downloads and streaming of wrestling shows. The tracker also contains combat sports such as MMA and boxing; and strangely enough, some movies, TV shows and music. As of this review there are 8,000 members and 3,500 torrents.

The tracker is still very raw and if you are pedantic on clean easy on the eye interface then definitely stay away. Areas of the site seems clustered while other areas are outright neglected, like the FAQ; which remains largely unfinished with headers that are a white font on a white background. The rules also fail to explain a lot of issues like bonus points accumulation and download slots. The staff could definitely spend some time patching up this area.

It is easy for new users to build ratio as they give you 10GB and 500 bonus points to start with. You just have to abide by their very simple rules of seeding downloads for 24 hours, uploads for 48 hours or when they reach a 1:1 ratio. There are freeleech, silver (50%) and double upload torrents, however there doesn’t seem to be a way to sort by a particular option which is a hassle.

This tracker on its own is a good starting point for wrestling/MMA content, but you’d want to eventually find better trackers. Its strength however, comes from its internal team, which works hard to churn out rips that are well worth registration on its own. As a result, WDT is a tracker mainly suited to your diehard wrestling and MMA fans, who are looking for those hard to find releases.

Pre-times As it doesn’t have its own encoders for weekly shows the pre-times aren’t great. It will never beat other wrestling/MMA trackers in this regard.

Speed Speed is definitely an issue when a torrent first releases due to the low number of users. However, I was still able to hit about 5MB/s with my seedbox on a 3 hour old torrent with 10 seeders.

Content You’ll be able to find most mainstream content on this tracker. What makes this site special though is its internal rips of rare DVDs and VHSs which aren’t available anywhere else.

Community There is a strong community focus however the user base does not have the numbers for it to be an active community just yet. There’s a shoutbox, IRC, two forums, a casino and arcade games, so as you can tell there's quite a lot to do besides browsing for torrents. The tracker’s forum isn’t very active as I’d imagine most users are on the sister site’s forum.
