Tracker Description

- TorrentLeech is a 0day general tracker for animations, apps, books, education, foreign content, games, movies, music and TV.

- Tracker is generally set to invite only - they do hold the occasional open signup.

- While pretimes are good, this is a hard ratio to build a ratio on even with a seedbox. You should jump on the fresh and new uploads before downloading anything you truly want. After downloading 6gb members are expected to maintain a ratio of 0.4, if you fall below this ratio requirement a warning will be applied to your account with six days to fix it. Any warnings will be removed after the six day period and if you have increased your ratio.

- TL has an active HnR policy in place. You are to seed torrents to a 0.4 ratio or for 60 hours, HnR comes with warnings and disabling of your account if you are consistently breaking this rule.

- A cool feature to the tracker is TV Schedule and the recent addition of a bonus points system. You will receive 1 point for every hour you are seeding with a limit of 1000 active torrents - this only applies to torrents 10mb+. You will earn more points for:

- Torrents over 1 GB and up to 2 GB will be granted a 10% bonus.
- Torrents over 2 GB and up to 5 GB will be granted a 15% bonus.
- Torrents over 5 GB and up to 10 GB will be granted a 20% bonus.
- Torrents over 10 GB will be granted a 30% bonus.
- Finally, rare torrents which have up to 5 seeders will be granted 10% bonus on top!

To be fair I marked them a bit lower due to the seed difficulty. I mean, yes they have decent pretimes and content but it’s not as enjoyable if you have to worry about what and how much you are downloading. It’s a common complaint for TL.

But we all have different opinions so thanks for sharing yours.. it’s always nice to see how others think :)

there needs to be a correction on this review. It states:

"TorrentLeech is a 0day general tracker for animations, apps, books, education, foreign content, games, movies, music, TV and XXX."

But there is no XXX on the tracker. While there is a link on the navigation to XXX, all it does is to take you to a different, sister, tracker for adult content

TorrentLeech as others have stated can be tricky due to a lack of Freeleech. However, the content is very rich, and if you've used IPT you can expect similar content across the board. Because of this, there are plenty of cross seeding opportunities with this tracker. While TL does lack FL, its seeding policy is more lenient than many trackers, requiring only a 0.4 ratio, or 60 hours seedtime, which is important for many users who either lack upload speed, or lack the capacity to seed content for long periods of time. In my case, I have no issue seeding for months on end, but it's still a good peace of mind. It must also be noted that TL is one of the trackers which has been singled out by governments such as Australia, which have implemented a ISP level ban on the address (which is easily defeated by changing DNS, using a VPN, or using one of TL's mirrors). TL have even worked up deals with VPN companies to provide users with good affordable deals in response.

For me personally, TL just doesn't offer that much for me over IPT, while have almost identical content across the board. It does provide an effective backup, and will serve anyone without access to IPT very well.

I believe the seed time has changed to 4 days ( 96 hours )

I agree with the review, it's a bit harder than some other trackers to build ratio, but there's a good opportunity for cross seeding and they have a lot of content

TL have recently introduced Freeleech so maintaining ratio shouldn't be hard at all now.
