DESCRIPTION

AreaFiles is a general/0-day Romanian based tracker. Both the tracker and forum are in English. There are currently 7000 active members and 11,300 active torrents.

AreaFiles is a unique private tracker in the sense that some of its torrents, designated as ‘external’, connect to certain public trackers like PirateBay and 1337x. As a result, when seeding, it may seem like you are uploading to a lot of peers but in reality most of these upload credits are squandered as these members are not registered with the tracker. Bonus points will still accumulate as normal.

As a general tracker the content is varied and you’ll find all your up to date movies, tv shows, music and games. All torrents are well seeded with only about 60 dead torrents out of over 11,000! The request section is small but active, with most items filled within a month. It’s got a simple design with a sort of DIY feel yet very practical and accessible.

Overall, AreaFiles is a nice little general tracker that is easy to join and good for any beginner learning to build their ratio. With that said, it still rewards the long-term user with fast speeds, good mainstream content and decent pre-times.

Content You will find most popular releases but don’t expect much else. There are only a handful of uploaders which means high quality uploads but very few torrents added daily. Tracker also has its own P2P releases.

Community I was very underwhelmed by its forum, its basically dead bar a few people asking for help. This score would've been lower if not for the shoutbox and the friendly staff who try their best to keep the community active with contests.

Rarity Rare in the sense that it is an obscure tracker that not many people know about it, but it’s very easy to become a member either through their periodic open registrations or invites.
