Rockhard Lossless is a private torrent tracker for lossless audio, here you can find all kind of genres related to rock/prog/metal music, they have an interesting collection of complete discographys, box-sets as well as single album torrents.

The Community is small (500+ users), but there are many active members around 25-30% or more are active every day. There is also an active forum where you can ask questions or discuss all kind of rock music related stuff. Overall i would say its s very nice small community for music collectors.

Torrents are seeded for very long time and its easy to find leechers. There are around 75,000+ torrents to choose from. The number seems to be small, but there are also many complete discographys and boxsets.

The Karma Bonus Points System which you can use to buy invites, upload credits, fix the ratio of a torrent, become VIP, get a custom title, get more freeleech slots and you are also able to give bonus points to other members and more. You get Karma Points for uploading torrents, for seeding torrents (max. 150), rating albums, hit 'thanks button' or writing comments will also give you a small amount of bonus points.

Freeleech Torrents, every user is able to upload and determine how long the own torrents should be available as freeleech, of course you are also able not to set it as freeleech, or make it an unlimited freeleech torrent. Every User also has freeleech slots, using one of them will disable one slot for around 2 weeks, it will be available after that time again, of course you can use your other freeleech slots during this time.

Ratio Maintenance is very easy, just enjoy the music.

The Interface isn't the best to be honest, but its easy to navigate through the tracker, some elements are slightly buggy, but you won't lose the overview. For Every torrent, covers / photos are shown, thats very nice.

Who should join this tracker? I recommend this tracker to everyone who likes any kind of rock music/metal music, personally i like to pick up some random albums and have already found a lot of good albums on this tracker just by clicking the 'unknown' albums. It might not be the best place to find everything, but if you are looking just for some interesting music this is a very good place to be, you can have every torrent for free with your freeleech slots, just seed them back, the torrents probably have more seeders/leechers then on other bigger music trackers, just becasue of that.

Hello @Axort, are you sure that the tracker has 75000 torrents? I see in front page only 3149 torrents

@TraderBoss - you are right, i just checked the tracker again, seems like i was confused by the torrent numbers, thought its 2500+ pages of torrents, but its just 2500 active torrents (2500 x 30 = 75000) - well that really needs to be changed, i will ask trader to change it.

and i am really sorry for the confusion, wasn't my intention to add any wrong numbers, just thought its correct.

@Axort , Nice Review man!
Just one observation , to give 10 for content is too much , the content is weak..not enough seeders , Plus trackers like Waffles or Apollo has more Rock Content.

My Opinion!

@whiteLight - thanks for your opinion, of course a rating is always nothing more then an opinion - the reason for the content rating is very simple, when you try to search for a good album by clicking on a random album on waffles (and probably its the same for apollo or red) the chance is compareable low to get something, well that i personally would rate as enjoyable/good - its not about the amount of music you can get on Rockhard, but the selection of albums that gives more and more reasons to check the coming albums and even adding your own 'recommended' albums.

and when i take a look at waffles (i don't have apollo or red) and i am looking at the last 100 uploaded albums, the maximum number of seeders for any album is 4, while most uploads only have 1 or 2 seeders - some even have 0 uploaders/seeders, its obvious that the conept of waffles just don't work, it just will keep members uploading every crappy stuff they may find anywhere else, spending hours for uploading to get a chance of grabbing a few albums over time.

and to be honest, giving ratings is not that easy, maybe after years of comparing trackers it becomes easier, but to get more objectiv views of the trackers it will need some time, anyway i will have that it mind what you said for any further reviews that might come
