Tracker Description
Hounddawgs is a DANISH general tracker. It has 60,888 Torrents and encoders like RAPiDCOWS, RELEASED, DAWGS, TWA, MOViEBOX, ENiGMA and more.
Compared to
last years review it only had 24,850 torrents, so it is growing.
The pretimes and speed are good and the torrents are seeded very well. It has a bonus system where you easily can afford upload, Freeleech etc, but also customize your profile with medals. Maintaining ratio is easy-medium as there is LOTS of freeleech (all the releases from their encoders are Freeleech) and the bonus system is very generous.
The invite system is build up so you get invites when you reach a new rank, for a total of 4 invites per user. Donors however, will get invites when they purchase 3 months of donortime.
The structure/layout of the site can be a little confusing and is not the best.
You have to seed to 1:1 or at least 36 hours, otherwise you will get a HNR warning - more details can be found in the images.
HoundDaws is especially good for the Custom DK subs their encoders provide, but the focus on NORDIC releases (DK, NO, SE and FIN subs) should also be mentioned.
The language is Danish, but can easily be used with google translate page translator.
The biggest rival to Hounddawgs is DanishBits. They both provide top quality content and Custom DK subs, but DanishBits has 10% more torrents, a more active forum, and in my opinion a noticeable better structure/layout. DanishBits will in the long run (if the current invite rules stay) also be easier to get into. As of today the torrent with most seeders on the two trackers are; HoundDawgs: ~1300 and DanishBits: ~ 2600
HoundDawgs or DanishBits is a must have for every Dane and is also a good place for people from other Scandinavian countries, which you choose however is up to you, but my vote goes to DanishBits.
