From the start, Cinematik set out to become a community for enthusiasts of arthouse and niche cinema. The mission of cinematik is to provide cinephiles of classic, independent, rare and outlandish films a friendly location to discuss and share their own interests with current members of this ever-growing community. They have kept away from the widespread and lawyer-infested Hollywood (and Bollywood) norm and introduced the members to the exciting world of films that aren't seen in every multiplex everywhere. Therefore tik does not permit any 'mainstream' content on this tracker. Along with KG one of the best tracker dedicated only to art-house, experimental and rare cinema. DivX, XviD, mkv, mp4, avi and all other BD and DVD-Rip formats are prohibited; this is a BD and DVD Only Tracker. This tracker is not for everyone. Maintaining a decent ratio is easy if you download the freeleech torrents as soon as they are uploaded. Users can request for invites in the invite thread. To request any invites you need to be a Power User, or to have been a Member for 8 weeks and have a decent (over 0.6) ratio, AND to have been active in downloading and then seeding back fully or for a long time, or in the Forums, or better still in uploading something to share.
