HIStory

ArabFilms is one of the oldest Arabic trackers or I should say, it's really the oldest. It was founded in 2004. In late 2013 and early 2014 the site went down several times due to copyright claims. It also suffered from DDOS attacks after it came up again and again. It was almost impossible for it to continue in the same business but it survived. When AF came back in January 2014, the tracker's database was lost. They rebuilt the forum and all the torrents again from scratch and again the site became one of the biggest living Arabic trackers as it always was. Then in October 2014, it was announced that the tracker will no longer deal with pirated Arabic Movie\TV \ Music content due to copyright claims. It was the only way for survival, the tracker was renamed to ArabsPlanet and became the 1st Arabic tracker specialized in documentaries. All torrents were deleted except for few categories that can serve the site as an E-learning & documentary tracker. Animation and comedy TV categories weren't deleted. And also, another tracker was co-founded with ArabsPlant called SportsLeech to be the 1st Arabic Tracker specialized in Sports.


Description

ArabsPlanet is the only Arabic Tracker focusing on documentaries and provides them in all qualities possible. The tracker now has a large number of rare Arabic documentaries. It has an internal team who translate foreign documentaries to Arabic too. This isn't all the fun, the site still provides animation movies dubbed in Arabic and some comedy TV shows. There is no donation plans at the moment. The IRC is inactive like the case of most Arabic tracker but members use the forums and the shoutbox. Registrations are only by invites right now. The site has a good bonus system and offers freeleech in a lot of files to help members taking full benefits from the tracker's content.


Personal Commentary

The tracker is the best place to download Arabic documentaries from. It has some files that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet. The community is still active and the environment is very friendly. They're keeping up with newly released Arabic documentaries and actively translating the most important foreign documentaries. It's a good place to be in.
