Well, everything is going forward except for hard drive speeds which are still crap, even the best SSD is not good enough for these speeds, and they are even still expensive and offer lower capacity compared to the mechanical hard drives, I'm waiting for the day where they will stop manufacturing mechanical hard drives and focus on advancing and improving SSDs to increase capacity and lower costs of production to make it cheaper, this needs to happen soon since all computer components are getting their speeds improved except for the bottlenecking hard drives.
also hopefully fiber will be available everywhere and replace the older methods soon enough and comes at a cheaper price.

Downloading a movie takes miliseconds, watching it takes +2 hours with stops.. I think, scientists better find way to watch the movies faster lol...
