They're moving servers. I don't think they're moving the domain.

They've stated in their original announce the site would be closed for approximately 12 hours due to change of domain. Now it's been 48 hours without any contact. Would appreciate an updated statement, though

Here's an update, posted by one of the senior Waffles staff members, on the What.cd forums. I found it pretty entertaining, and reassuring at the same time.

[Update]

Here's the timeline:

1) Server move in progress.
2) SysOp gets called on a business trip.
3) Something goes wrong bringing all of the servers back online. (I think it's only 1 holding us up) SysOp runs out of time & boards the plane.
4) SysOp arrives at destination but has no internet there.
5) Time passes - SysOp still has no internet.
6) Woodenhead goads SysOp into wandering into unfamiliar territory in search of a Starbucks in order to get online.

So, right now Waffles depends on Starbucks.

I was thinking about something much more worrying like an air plane crash on the servers or some rodents trying to steal the servers, now i'm reassured. Guess we all have to keep waiting and remain patient ;-)
