Ukraine: Cybersecurity law was prepared on pirated versions of Microsoft Word
The document with the scandalous bill No. 6688 was prepared in a pirated version of a text editor Microsoft Word, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to znaj.ua. About this drew the attention of the Facebook user Petro NEK.
Peter writes that he decided to familiarize himself with the text of the bill and, out of habit, first looked at the file properties to view the related information.
“Well, and out of habit looked who created the document, who edited. (Ward, by default writes the data specified when installing the program). Well, it turned out that the document was typed on a pirate Ward. You can just google it SPecialiST RePack and you will see results. About the author Don Mare, I found nothing, except that it’s fish store,” – said the user.
This kind of messages regarding the use of Ukrainian in government agencies unlicensed software despite many initiatives for the protection of copyright and the fight against pirated content, is not uncommon. But in this case the situation is particularly curious – the law about censorship in the Internet, which is supposed to improve cybersecurity deputies write on a pirate Word.
