    Important please read!
    Hey all, recently some of you might have noticed that you couldn't connect to the site. The site wasn't down at all it's just that the webserver wasn't able to route people that use http as opposed to https to the site like it should. We have fixed this and it is routing properly. All users will now connect securely vis https
    On another note we noticed that our server that sends out emails was down for a few days so those of you that didn't get confirmation emails or other emails that we would send out for unban ip requests or password changes, please send a staff message and we will be happy to get you taken care of. I will remind everyone that we do have an IRC server and can usually be contacted there faster than normal places (Ieatscrayons is always there.. watching lol). If you can't login to the site for some reason and don't know how to setup and IRC client or forget our server details you can always go to https://torrentcafe.com/guestchat.php and it will load a web based irc client that works in 95% of all modern browsers and it will connect you to our server automatically where you can ask for help. Those of you that have IRC clients please do join our irc and idle or chat if you wish! Our server details are irc.torrentcafe.com and the port is 6667 or 6697 for an encrypted ssl connection!
    IF YOU USE A YAHOO OR HUSHMAIL EMAIL ADDRESS YOU NEED TO CHANGE THEM, THE SYSTEM CAN NOT SEND EMAILS TO THOSE PROVIDERS!!! They send properly just yahoo and hushmail don't deliver them!


    I would also like to remind everyone, we do have a dev blog now that noks, Ieatscrayons and clashrules update several times a week with the modifications that we make to the site not only on the front end but backend aswel! You can find this in the 'EXTRA' drop down menu and then it's listed under Developer's Blog. They're dated so you know which is which. The newest one will always be at the top!

    Before I let everyone get back to seeding and downloading torrents, I'de like to point out our hit and run rules as a reminder so no one gets themselves banned
    The rules state that you must seed all torrents that you download for a total of 48 hours. You're allowed breaks of 16 hours before the system sends you a PM saying, 'Hey you need to seed this torrent longer!' The system will send out 5 of these pms before you're officially warned. 5 of these warnings and it bans you You CAN however remove a hit and run warning and normal warnings for spending 3000 or 5000 of your hard earned bonus points respectivly. You can get to the BP store by clicking on the # of bonus points you have in your user stats.(We will be adding a link in the menus for this just for ease of access, probably before most of you get done reading this message lol) If you have any questions or concerns about the hnr rules or anything releated to the site please don't hesitate sending a contact staff message or asking for help in the IRC or chatbox!

    Hi I have had a torrentcafe account since august 2012, all of a sudden I was not able to login in to my account. As I have a slow upload connection I paid for a subscription for what I thought was 2 years. I have made many attempts to get logged in, retrieve my password (if I am getting it wrong) and contact staff. I have been unable to achieve any response or access via any of the options available. Is there any suggestion you can offer me to get access to my account back. Thanks
