There is a bug on latest version of uTorrent which can cause issues with your stats. Please do not update, and we recommend using qBittorrent or uTorrent 2.2.1. Please uninstall previous version before installing 2.2.1. Untick the remove settings box during uninstallation to retain your current torrents.
