T411: the popular BitTorrent tracker will be blocked by ISPs
French court has imposed on Internet service providers (ISPs) to block access to future tracker T411 torrents.
The French rights holders, this time represented by the Civil Society of Phonogram Producers (SCPP) and on the basis of the provisions of the Hadopi law, just obtained from the French justice the promise of the future of the site blocking T411 by French ISP.
After The Pirate Bay, it was the turn of T411
As The Pirate Bay is this time T411 will be blocked by Internet service providers in France. The Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris listened to the request sent by the SCPP and requires ISPs to block access to the French site sharing links T411 torrents. This ruling is based on Hadopi and more specifically Article L336-2 of the famous Code of Intellectual Property, which stipulates that "in the presence of an infringement of a copyright or related right, -the justice - may order [...] all appropriate measures to prevent or stop such an attack - and - against anyone who might help to solve them. »
The SCPP, which launched proceedings against the T411 site in December 2014, which seems to have been successful, issued a press release in which it states: "The SCPP welcomes the court decision today by the Paris Court requiring the ISPs to implement all necessary measures to prevent access from French territory T411 music file sharing site. After blocking site The Pirate Bay, this decision is a further step in the fight against music piracy and strengthens the existing similar decisions in the EU and worldwide. »
T411: A little consequence lock
As we know, this kind of action has generally little negative impact on the sites concerned. As was seen with The Pirate Bay, users always find a way to get to connect to their sharing site and download files associated with links torrents. The most commonly used solutions are manual or automated change DNS and proxy use.
To continue with the example of blocking The Pirate Bay tracker traffic drop was immediate but rather small (about -11%) and lasted only a short time. It is even the opposite effect which was obtained because the tracker lock the media had brought a lot of new users.

T411 update its domain name frequently to bypass ISP blocking process
So no issue to access to tracker
