SceneAccess: News
Our coders have to develop the next-generation technologies that change how our users connect, explore, view and download torrents. Our ambitions reach far beyond just a torrent tracker. We want our site to be able to handle torrenting at scale of the web.
We're looking for ideas from every area of computer science, including information retrieval, distributed computing, networking, streaming, security, data compression, and user interface design; the list goes on and is growing every day.
As our coder, you will work on a small team! and work on both new and old projects. We need you to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push our tracker forward.
Responsibilities and Preferred Qualifications
Writing server-side code for web-based applications, create a robust high-volume torrent tracker, and develop prototypes quickly.
Build a new platform for our website infrastructure using your background in C++, PHP, AJAX, Python or JavaScript, database design and SQL.
Build the next generation web-based entertainment experience with video content to help us deliver a compelling lean back movie and TV experience with BitTorrent.
Develop UI with AJAX and similar technologies.
Experience with leading projects.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux.
Experience with the BitTorrent protocol is a must, as you will be building cross-platform applications with BitTorrent at its core.
A decent amount of time for this.
Ability to work independently.
If you feel you are the prodigy we are looking for please send a PM to GeeZus with your "CV" and/or skill set, amount of time you are able to see off for us and a short application as to why we should pick you.
