Information This is a small feature that has been added to help alleviate the confusion about where to make editing requests for torrents, torrent groups, and artists, and to make it a bit simpler for some. You can still create your own threads in the editing sub-forum, or use the #red-editing channel on our IRC network.

Individual Torrent Editing Request There is now a way to "report" an individual torrent for an editing request through the reportsv2 system.
To start the process, you will need to click the Report button on next to the specific torrent that needs editing.

From there, you will need to select the 'Editing Request' option in the 'Reason' dropdown. A list of reasons an individual torrent might be edited has been included, as well as a notice to not use that particular form for groups, artists, and wrong media/format reports. You are also required to input the information for the edit, including applicable links.

Once the pseudo-report is submitted, a thread in the forums is created by the services bot, Medicus, with the information that you provided, and you are redirected to the forum thread. From there, the you can add more information if needed, and staff members (and other torrent editors) can make the appropriate changes.

Torrent Group Editing Request This part of the feature allows you to create an editing request for a torrent group. This process does not involve the reportsv2 system, but uses a standard form with the same basic functionality.

To start this process, you will need to click the 'Edit request' button at the top of the torrent group page. This is located on the same line as Bookmark/Subscribe/Add Format/etc.

From there, you will have to fill out the same basic form as the Individual Torrent Editing Request, with slightly changed information. It details a list of reasons for a torrent group edit, and includes a notice.

Once the form is submitted, a similar thread is created that includes all of the same basic information.

Artist Editing Request This part of the feature is similar to the above, but instead of torrent groups, you can make edit requests for artists.
To start the process, you will need to click the 'Edit request button at the top of the artist page. This is located on the same line as Bookmark/Subscribe/Info/etc.

As with the other two parts of this feature, there is a form that you can fill out. It gives information related to submitting an edit request for an artist, as well as the giant red notice.

And, once again, a thread is created with all of the information.

Other Information BBCode is allowed. All threads created via this way are outputted to the #red-editing IRC channel.
