The Polish DTH platform nc+ has detected over 200,000 copyright infringements for the first season of the Canal+ series Belfer.

According to Wirtualne Media, it confiscated 150,000 copies of the series, 80,000 addresses from Google search and 70,000 files from the file sharing site Chomikuj.pl.

It adds that nc+ says it is working with the association Sygnal, as well as the police and APP organisation, to tackle piracy.

The first season of Belfer was the most watched Canal + production in Poland to date.

Premiere episodes were seen by an average of 267,000 viewers and repeats by 78,000, with the largest audience recorded being 460,000 (407,000 for Canal+ and 53,000 for Canal+ 1).
