PlayStation Vita Hack Allows Permanent Piracy

It took a long time but hackers have finally managed to hack Sony’s PlayStation Vita permanently. The handheld is going to permanently kneel to piracy. There is a new hack in the town called HENkaku jailbreak which does the trick.

The hack will allow users to install a custom firmware and download PlayStation Vita games. What this does is remove the need to apply the hack every time you reboot the machine. The hackers managed to bypass the security measures in place and permanently hack the handheld.

HENkaku Ensō is the evolution of the HENkaku jailbreak that opened the PS Vita and PSTV to a new universe of customization and user created content. Install it once and your Vita will be permanently hacked–no need to apply it after each reboot. Just enable HENkaku, install the following vpk, launch it, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Compared to PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita hack took a while to develop and permanently hack the system. While there is hack available for PlayStation Vita, so far PlayStation 4 is safe from the hackers. PlayStation 3 got hacked a while back and same was the case with Xbox 360.

The Xbox One is another console that is yet to be hacked. However, both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One use higher levels of encryptions and other security measures which make it hard to crack.

Support for PlayStation Vita first party titles ended a while back and most of what you get are indie titles. It is best that you purchase your games rather than hurt indie developers.
