Open Applications are working great, we've got a lot of new users here. However there are some people seeking to abuse this system and our generosity by applying for an account and then giving them away on other sites.

This is strictly forbidden.

We are going to start adding some additional items to the application process to prevent any of this from happening.

First, we will be adding activity requirements to any of the new accounts registered and they will have to complete certain tasks in order to keep that account. We will also be adding a strict time limit on how long you 'invite key' is good for, so you can't sit and hold onto the invite key and hand it out to another user.

That's it for the user end, as for the application end, we are more than likely going to be using the UserID's from other sites to cross check other applications to make sure no one is using the same UserID from another site. This will prevent from having multiple applications with the same UserID.

We are also going to monitor IP addresses on ALL new accounts, so if they change countries within a certain number of days then that account is going to be subject to review. More than likely disabled for good.

We don't like to be aggressive like this, but sometimes we are left no choice in the matter. We have a lot of things in the pipeline for users, and it's a shame people want to take advantage of our kindness when we are trying to do a lot of everyone. So, if we receive an application with false information, or one that throws flags up of any kind or one that later becomes associated with invite trading, account trading, account selling that person's information will be made public for all other privately operated trackers to have access to. So not only do you stand a chance to lose an account here, but other places as well.

We are also going to cross checking application emails against invite keys, so if the invite key that was sent doesn't match the email that is registered that account is also going to be banned. So look forward to all this control freak stuff in the coming weeks.

Sad thing is, it only hampers our development of useful features and keeps the site from progressing forward.
