INterview Team Milestones (Beautiful Day - U2)




On January 15, 2017, PassTheHeadphones.me launched the interview program. We structured our interview program largely on the What.CD interview process. The extraordinary group of individuals that came before us blazed a trail for us and we feel honored to be able to continue their work. We owe each of the previous WCD interviewers and staff an immense debt of gratitude, as without their efforts, we would not be here today. I hope that we continue to carry the torch forward.


A little more than one hour after we opened our doors, we welcomed our first passing interview to the site: Symbols passed AkiTakiTeriyaki's interview. On January 30, 2017, PassTheHeadphones.me reached another significant milestone: we completed our 1000th interview; k2r passed a very spirited group interview. Thanks k2r for being awesome!


Of the 1000 interviews, we have the following stats:


Passes: 783 (78.3%)
Fails: 217 (21.7%)
Avg Duration: 1h 21m 36s
Avg Duration for Pass: 1h 28m 11s
Avg Duration for Fail: 57m 48s


I am privileged to be able to work with an amazingly dedicated group of individuals that make up our interview team. To celebrate this significant milestone and recognize the effort put into this by each of the interviewers, we are pleased to offer the IN team some FL picks. Average interview duration of 1h30m? What were they discussing? Trump's foreign policy? Must be an awful feeling to be interviewed for 57 minutes and get rejected in the end.

I agree, What a joke. These are torrent sites for christ sakes, In my opinion What.cd did not set a very good bar or standard for there ridiculous antics. Seems like just another site ran by people with a little man complex.

Well it's essentially running with the wcd model. Meaning that they also ban a lot. IMO apollo is much better with friendly staff, not so strict, similar number of torrents, easier to get an invite...it's always good to have an alternative but I'm not really dying to enter PTH

At this point it feels like that waffles moving truck in their homepage is just filling up with bitcoin donations and nothing more.

At least the tracker is up and running for a couple of weeks now so let's hope that they are just doing tests and will eventually bring the site up as well
