This is not forced mate, if you want don't buy any invite don't buy any and nothing happens ;)

The invite system will be open on (2017-11-18) and Power users or above will can send invites, but buy it's not mandatory

Also if you buy an invite and don't send it before the date expires, your bonus points will be restored and the invite will be removed
