The next Westminster Media Forum event will assess the future of monetising digital content across the creative sectors, including music, screen, publishing and radio.

The event, which includes sessions on maximising revenue growth and safeguarding the value of digital content, takes place on 30 November in Central London.

Speakers confirmed include Tim Arber, head of membership support at PRS for Music, 7digital chief executive Simon Cole and Claire Enders, chief executive of Enders Analysis.

With digital adverting spend surpassing TV, and streaming set to outstrip physical music sales in 2017, delegates will discuss the next steps for developing digital platforms and growing digital revenues.

They will also assess how the creative industries can utilise new technologies and personal data to target audiences and develop new content.

In the wider policy and commercial context, sessions will examine latest thinking on protecting the value of content, looking at issues of copyright and piracy, fake news, advertising strategies and data use, and the implications of Brexit on regulation and international trade.
