Like we promised, it's the 23rd of February and signups are open. After the week is over, we're not planing on opening them again for the foreseeable future.

If you haven't noticed yet here are some of the changes we've made:

Implemented a Seedpoint Market. We're still tweaking the prices and figuring what other options to implement, but at least you can spend your Seedpoints.
Removed uploading privileges for ranks under Elite. We felt that it was necessary since not everyone has the bandwidth to ensure a decent upload speed and no one wants to wait longer than they have to for a season pack. Upload privileges can be restored on a user-by-user basis, if you either have access to a seedbox, rare content or a connection above 50 Mbps.
Internal tags on the browse page. Our internal encoding groups Dracula and GBL are now differentiated from other torrents. You can either hunt down these releases easier popular or use the internal tag to know what torrents to stay away from.

Stuff in the pipeline:

Tv and movie subcategories. We're implementing a better sorting method for our torrents, with dedicated subcategories for HD and SD movies/episodes/season packs.
Removing global freeleech and implementing some minimum seeding rules. We wanted to enable our few users to download without having to seed the torrents back for months on end until another leecher came along. We feel that we've gained enough users that call this tracker home that we can focus more on torrent retention. It helps that we have a the Market running to help things along.
