DRM or anti-tamper protection software is a hot topic among gamers insofar that many will not purchase a game unless it has been cracked or shipped without DRM. Well, it’s seems that Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios Kingdom Come: Deliverance DRM has been cracked recently, as noted by Crackwatch.

The thought of cracking DRM can be very pleasing, and cracking a DRM-infested game can spread very fast. You say you don’t believe me? CD Projekt Red CEO and co-founder Marcin Iwinski has noted several times the problem with adding DRM-like features to a game.

The first video explains that treating fans right and delivering them a premium experience for their money will make those who pirated the game, if they didn’t have enough money or did it just because, will soon go back and buy the game due to its DRM free policy and gameplay polish.

The second video reiterates the same thing, except he, Iwinski, details the process of treating fans right and delivering them premium-like products, because otherwise DRM-laden games will be cracked fast and plastered everywhere, starting from 0:53 to 6:32.

Just like Iwinski had said in the second interview, even if you release a game where one has DRM and the other does not, the one with DRM will still be cracked, just like Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

The second version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance will release on GOG on February 27th, 2018 and will not feature DRM.

In addition to the above, many people on the Reddit page about Kingdom Come: Deliverance being cracked have stressed their opinion about not getting the cracked version because they want to support the devs, yet they do not want to support DRM.

The good news is that you can do what Iwinski had said and get Kingdom Come: Deliverance cracked and later come back and show your support by picking up the non-DRM version over on GOG.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
