ALMOST 800,000 Brazzers subscribers have had their personal details exposed in a major security breach.

According to The Mirror, the porn website was infiltrated by hackers who stole the details of registered users worldwide from forums associated with the site on which porn fans discuss favourite scenes and performers.

The online network consists of 31 hardcore pornography websites and was founded in 2005 by a group of Montreal investors.

It understood the breach was made when the attack targeted the vulnerabilities in chat rooms software. Brazzers has taken immediate steps to limit the fraudulent use of login names, The Mirror reported. According to news website Motherboard, information about Brazzers users was passed to it by Vigilante.pw, which monitors breaches. A spokesman for Brazzers, Matt Stevens confirmed the hack was carried out on the third-party-managed forum four years but has now been taken down for maintenance.

“That being said, users accounts were shared between Brazzers and the ‘Brazzersforum’ which was created for user convenience.“That resulted in a small portion of our user accounts being exposed and we took corrective measures in the days following this incident to protect our users.”
