About the solution after some mailboxes stopped service

For security reasons, in principle, members' usernames and email addresses cannot be changed.

Changing an email address can easily lead to account trading activities. If a user changes their email address and encounters issues such as abnormal account logins or client errors, it may result in the account being banned.

Since 2018, our site has implemented a whitelist email registration feature. For users who registered before this period, the following procedure can be used to change the email address:

If your email address is still active and capable of sending emails, please use the current email associated with your account to send us an email in the following format to: support@hdhome.org

Subject: hdhome User Request to Change Email Address
Information Required:
1. Description of your account
2. New email address
3. Reason for the change
4. Service provider discontinuation notice URL or screenshot (if available, this will expedite the process)

If your email is not functioning properly, please use a new email address to send us the request:

5. Screenshot of emails received from our site to your old email address (this is important evidence)

Any unreasonable requests will be ignored. We will process requests as soon as possible upon receipt, so please do not rush us. The deadline for email change requests is October 31, 2024.
