This ruined my night.

Very very very sad news!!!

I loved HDAccess for their full BD releases, and it was a friendly site above all. It literally used to be the second URL that I typed every time I opened my browser. I wish they came back

It's easy to come to that conclusion, but I have it from a reliable source that this is simply not the case. The owner loved the site more than anything but had to step away due to personal reasons. The site was left in the hands of another staff member who disappeared without notice. There were a couple other people who were interested in taking over, though they wanted to make sweeping changes which could've jeopardised the site. In the end, the owner decided it was best to put the site to rest rather than see someone else ruin what he had created.

It sure is sad that it had to come to this, but the reality is, nothing is more important than family. RIP HDA

The owner had to transfer ownership to Staff of HDA and they will Continue the legacy of the owner... The owner could not find people?? nonsense

Without knowing the exact details I'm never going to judge a person from deciding their real life is more important. People who run private trackers get very little benefit for the amount of time and effort they put in. Now the argument is that they should've known what they were getting themselves into, which is true, but it's also very hard to predict changes in your life two or three years down the track.

Also, reread my above comment. The owner did try to transfer ownership but it didn't work out - the new owner disappeared. So he came back and kept the site running for a little while to try and find someone else suitable. When he found out that all the prospective new owners wanted to clean out the existing staff and start afresh what is the point in watching your legacy fall apart?

I read all! but It seems that the owner didnt want to keep the site alive. like a boss: 'if i not the Owner, hda will not to be administered by foreign entities. SO SAD R.I.P.
