The hack might have gathered more information about the show than first thought.

There had been several leaks that have come out since “#Game of Thrones” started, be it downloadable episodes, or just plain spoilers of the television show. This probably adds to the spice and excitement for the viewers as they watch or read the books.

On Sunday, a new report suggested that the recent HBO hacks have revealed that there is a probability that #Rhaegar Targaryen will be featured in a flashback scene in this season of “Game of Thrones.”

It also hinted that actor Wilf Scolding might be the one to play the role of the Targaryen prince in the series, according to HuffPost. This new information might be a good news for some fans of “Game of Thrones,” while it might also be a must-avoid-spoiler to some.

HBO announced that their system had been hacked, and added that the hackers were able to steal valuable information, and assured that the firm’s e-mail system is safe and protected. Richard Plepler, HBO’s CEO, said that their system was breached, but in general, their system has not been compromised.

The character of Rhaegar Targaryen is a pivotal role in “Game of Thrones” and has been a mystery for many years now since the television series started in 2010. Rhaegar is the son of Aerys Targaryen—the Mad King, and the older brother of both Daenerys and Viserys Targaryen. Aside from the memories of the other characters both in the book and television, Rhaegar was absent until now.

There have been a lot of guesses and hunches by the fans [VIDEO] in past seasons about when the mystery of Rhaegar will be revealed. It was last season that it was confirmed that Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark are the parents of Jon Snow, who is currently the King in the North. Now he has both wolf and dragon’s blood running through his veins.

But then, none of these are confirmed officially, as there hadn’t been any official statements from the staff of the series regarding the leak. Scolding is relatively new to the industry, and if the leak is proven true, it will be his biggest break in the entertainment business.

Scolding has appeared in “The Passing Bells,” “Six Wives with Lucy Worsley” and “Bees Make Honey. His IMDb page was also already edited to reflect his yet to be confirmed portrayal as Jon Snow‘s father and Daenerys Targaryen‘s brother in “Game of Thrones.” #HBO hack
