We sincerely apologize if you guys have got the message already both from loopylou and BarryWhite but, we heard many reports of users not getting our mass message regarding our request for donations, so here is one final attempt to spread the request far and wide. If this does not get the point across, there is not much to say other than a sad good bye from our end. Please let your other GFT friends and GFT users also know about this if you can if they haven't already heard about this.

What happened is Paypal locked down our payment system from February onwards till 2 days ago due to their "annual investigation" for the last donation request we asked. The verification process was lengthy and too troublesome, mainly because of the number of steps it required to pass it seeing as we are a torrent site. While trying to move money out of the account, paypal also seized the 300 euros we send to another account we created by saying that it was fraudulent and was a "duplicate account". We tried to move to other payment system but they are not really feasible with how most people only accept Paypal as a payment solution. In the end, it is a catch-22 that we simply cannot move away from.

There is simply no greater joy in knowing that GFT has been around for over 8 years serving the community in different forms. I really don't want to see it as "another one bites the dust" if we fail after being around for so long. Please think it of as a repayment of that 1$ you saved by downloading from here. Please contact a staff member if you need us, as thats what we are here for.
