After receiving many questions regarding clarification of OST rules, we’ve taken the liberty of giving them all a complete overhaul to more accurately and concisely reflect the standards of uploading music to GGn. Some points to note are the allowed formats, the trumping hierarchy, as well as file and folder naming and compression conventions. Namely, APE and ALAC have been dropped and are no longer allowed to be uploaded, and V2 MP3 files are now trumpable with any lossy format of at least ~224kbps.

Another rule change that affects all uploads to the site is ↑_ 1.1.5., which outlines Release Title, folder and archive naming conventions.

GGn Staff invite you to take a look at the revamped OST rules to get a feeling and understanding of the new changes. They can be found in their usual place in the Uploading Rules page under OSTs.
