Social Integration

We've recently taken a look at user behaviour and asked various user groups via polls about their activity on the site. We've come to the conclusion that there's three main areas our users are interested in: Collecting gold and items, chatting with friends, and playing forum games. This provides valuable insight as we've mistakenly assumed that torrents are the main interest for our userbase. To streamline user experience, improve performance, and to modernize the site, we've taken the easy decision to move away from the torrents system which causes too much load on the servers anyways.

Going Forward You can look forward to a lot more exciting features to enable further social integration. To give you a quick sneak peek, we're currently working on a new social ranking system where your user class will be based on the rating of other users. Instead of rating games, you can now rate other users directly! We're also working on a timeline so you can see what your friends have been up to, as well as a login option via your Facebook account to streamline our login system. In the meantime, we'll be looking to remove our torrents collection over the next few weeks. This should free up our resources to pursue more productive projects and allows us to re-use obsolete parts.

To help us out with implementing new social features, our headhunters managed to snatch [Removed]. Their expertise with various social media platforms is unmatched. They even used to have a Snapchat account! While they're bored, they might fiddle around with Sony platforms, with a special focus on Vita games.
