Recently, the news of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's movie Toilet Ek Prem Katha being leaked online had shocked the industry. Post that Akshay in a powerful note had raised the concern of piracy.

Now, Arjun Kapoor has come forward to urge people to not indulge in piracy of movies. Replying to a tweet which promoted piracy in the most blatant way, Arjun wrote, "Heartbreaking 2 read this, encouraging piracy so easily without realising how many people's hard work & livelihood is nullified is just wrong."
Earlier, in a post, Akshay had written, "The fight against piracy is critical and it's reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch of the unfortunate incident involving our film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. I would like to urge my friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to please say no to piracy. Thank you for all your support."

Many colleagues from the industry have stood by Akshay and shown their support in the matter. "Piracy is a serious problem which is killing our film industry. Guys, please do not support piracy watch films only in the theatre," Varun Dhawan tweeted.

While Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is all set to release on August 11, 2017, Arjun Kapoor's Mubarakan release two weeks back and has performed well at the box office.
